Support and service

Core Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

·         Proactively analyse the OS, HW capacity, DB and SAP application to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

·         Technical application analysis, which focuses on the core business processes from a technical perspective, with step-by-step optimisation.

·         Safeguarding customers to identify potential challenges and recommend a tailor made action and service plan.

·         Generate extensive reports with an action list and detailed suggestions for improvement.

·         Report errors to Development Support.

·         Provide support for customers on procedural issues and queries.

·         Provide weekend and evening shift as scheduled.

·         Share knowledge with the team.

 

Requirements:

 

To succeed in these demanding roles, the following is required:  

·         Reasonable knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle/Informix/MSSQL/Adabas)

·         Reasonable knowledge of Operating systems (Unix/NT/AS400)
