perindopril Drug information
Generic Name: perindopril (per IN doe pril)
Brand Names: Aceon

What is the most important information I should know about perindopril?
• Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Perindopril could cause birth defects in the baby if you take the medication during pregnancy. Use an effective form of birth control. Stop using this medication and tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment.
• Perindopril can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert.
• Vomiting, diarrhea, or heavy sweating can cause you to become dehydrated. This can lead to very low blood pressure, electrolyte disorders, or kidney failure while you are taking perindopril. Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily while you are taking this medication.

What is perindopril?
• Perindopril is in a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors. ACE stands for angiotensin converting enzyme.
• Perindopril is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent heart attack in people with coronary artery disease.
• Perindopril may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking perindopril?
• Do not use this medication if you are allergic to perindopril or to any other ACE inhibitor, such as benazepril (Lotensin), captopril (Capoten), fosinopril (Monopril), enalapril (Vasotec), lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), moexipril (Univasc), quinapril (Accupril), ramipril (Altace), or trandolapril (Mavik).
• Before using perindopril, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:
· kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis);
· liver disease;
· heart disease or congestive heart failure;
· diabetes; or
· a connective tissue disease such as Marfan syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, lupus, scleroderma, or rheumatoid arthritis.
• If you have any of these conditions, you may not be able to use perindopril, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment.
• FDA pregnancy category D. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Perindopril could cause birth defects in the baby if you take the medication during pregnancy. Use an effective form of birth control. Stop using this medication and tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment.
• It is not known whether perindopril passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

How should I take perindopril?
• Take this medication exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take the medication in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label.
• Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results from this medication.
• Take each dose with a full glass of water.
• Perindopril can be taken with or without food.
• Vomiting, diarrhea, or heavy sweating can cause you to become dehydrated. This can lead to very low blood pressure, electrolyte disorders, or kidney failure while you are taking perindopril. Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily while you are taking this medication.
• To be sure this medication is helping your condition, your blood pressure will need to be checked on a regular basis. Your kidney or liver function may also need to be tested. Do not miss any scheduled visits to your doctor.
• If you need to have any type of surgery, tell the surgeon ahead of time that you are taking perindopril. You may need to stop using the medicine for a short time.
• If you are being treated for high blood pressure, keep using this medication even if you feel fine. High blood pressure often has no symptoms.
• Store perindopril at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

What happens if I miss a dose?
• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?
• Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine.
• Symptoms of a perindopril overdose may include feeling extremely dizzy or light-headed, or fainting.

What should I avoid while taking perindopril?
• Perindopril can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert.
• Avoid drinking alcohol. It can further lower your blood pressure and may increase some of the side effects of perindopril.
• Do not use salt substitutes or potassium supplements while taking perindopril, unless your doctor has told you to.

What are the possible side effects of perindopril?
• Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; severe stomach pain; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
· feeling light-headed, fainting;
· urinating more or less than usual, or not at all;
· fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms;
· pale skin, easy bruising or bleeding;
· tired feeling, muscle weakness, and pounding or uneven heartbeats;
· swelling, rapid weight gain;
· chest pain; or
· jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
• Less serious side effects may be more likely to occur, such as:
· cough, stuffy nose;
· muscle or joint pain;
· dizziness, drowsiness, headache;
· sleep problems (insomnia);
· diarrhea, upset stomach; or
· mild skin itching or rash.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

What other drugs will affect perindopril?
• Before taking perindopril, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following drugs:
· lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith);
· a potassium supplement such as K-Dur, Klor-Con;
· salt substitutes that contain potassium; or
· a diuretic (water pill) such as amiloride (Midamor), bumetanide (Bumex), chlorthalidone (Hygroton, Thalitone), ethacrynic acid (Edecrin), furosemide (Lasix), hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, HydroDiuril), indapamide (Lozol), metolazone (Mykrox, Zarxolyn), spironolactone (Aldactone), triamterene (Dyrenium, Maxzide, Dyazide), torsemide (Demadex).
• If you are using any of these drugs, you may not be able to use perindopril or you may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment.
• There may be other drugs not listed that can affect perindopril. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.

Where can I get more information?
• Your pharmacist has information about perindopril written for health professionals that you may read.

Stroke prevention - for 50p a day

A treatment to lower blood pressure could cut stroke risk by a quarter - and costs just 50p a day.
A study of over 6,000 stroke sufferers worldwide found the treatment also lowered the risk of further strokes among those who have already suffered one - even for those people who did not have high blood pressure.

Seven hundred of those who took part in the study were from the UK.

The treatment uses a combination of two drugs which are used to treat blood pressure - perindopril, from a class of drugs called ACE inhibitors, and a diuretic called indapamide.

They show that these drugs don't just help people with high blood pressure, but anyone who's had a stroke

John Reid,
University of Glasgow
Both drugs are available in the UK, and GPs could prescribe them for stroke patients.

Results showed the risk of a stroke was cut by around 25%, looking at all patients, and by almost 50% for those whose stroke had involved bleeding in the brain.

One in 11 patients given the drugs for five years would avoid a further stroke, heart attack, or death from cardiovascular disease, the study showed.

The risk of complications of stroke, such as dementia and disability, were also reduced.

Findings from the study were presented to the European Society of Cardiologists in Stockholm this week.

John Reid, professor of medicine and therapeutics at the University of Glasgow, who co-ordinated the UK part of the six-year study, told BBC News Online: "These findings are really important. They show that these drugs don't just help people with high blood pressure, but anyone who's had a stroke."

And he said it was important because aspirin could not be given to everyone who had had a stroke.

Risk

Around 60,000 people die after a stroke every year in England and Wales. Approximately 100,000 suffer a first stroke.

Globally, about one in five survivors will suffer another stroke or heart attack within five years.

More than two-thirds of all strokes occur in people who do not have high blood pressure as defined by World Health Organization standards.

The doctors who led the study say the drugs, which showed few side effects, should be available to everyone who has suffered a stroke.

A spokesman for the Stroke Association said: "This is very exciting as the research involved a very large number of people.

"Studies show that patients who suffer a stroke have a 40% risk of having another stroke and anything that helps to reduce the risk of secondary stroke or transient ischaemic attack in patients is good news.

"Uncontrolled high blood pressure is the number one cause of avoidable strokes. Four in ten people who die from stroke could have been saved if they had arranged regular blood pressure checks and then followed medical advice."

Network Security Technologies
作者: Kwok T. Fung
内容介绍:
With the advent of telecommunication and IT technologies coupled with the increasingly dominant roles played by e-commerce in every major industry, the development and implementation efforts in many areas of network security have drawn technologies from more and more seemingly unrelated technical fields that did not previously have to cross path or intimately interwork. These major technical fields include cryptography, network protocols, switch/router technology and information technology, each with already fully developed theories, standards as well as well-established practices. Trying to develop expertise in all of these technical fields is a challenging task. By introducing a unique, hierarchical framework based on the fundamental network security functional elements of confidentiality, authentication, authorization, message integrity and non-repudiation, this book presents the key network security-relevant technologies in these diverse fields in an organized, easy-to-follow fashion which greatly facilitates the understanding of not only the technologies themselves but also their inter-relationships and how they interwork.

MySQL professionals need a way to distinguish themselves from the vast majority of database administrators and developers. With more than 4 million active installations, MySQL is the world's most popular open-source database. Known for its speed, reliability and case of use, MySQL has become a low-cost alternative to expensive database systems such as Oracle, IBM and Microsoft. MySQL AB has aggressively improved the feature set of MySQL with MySQL 5, making it more suitable for enterprise-level applications and uses. The MySQL certification tests, available at over 3,000 PearsonVUE testing centers, is a key component of this enterprise growth strategy, establishing a base level of skills for database users, administrators and programmers.
The MySQL Core Certification is aimed at the database user who wants proof of his or her abilities in such fundamental areas as SQL, data entry and maintenance, and data extraction. The MySQL Professional Certification test is designed for the advanced user who wants to prove his or her knowledge in such areas as database management, installation, security, disaster prevention and optimization. Both tests are thoroughly covered in the MySQL Certification Study Guide. Written by Paul DuBois, the leading author of books on MySQL topics, and reviewed for technical accuracy by MySQL AB, this book is the fastest, most reliable way for MySQL users, developers, and administrators to prepare for either of the MySQL tests.

Fourier Analysis on Finite Groups with Applications in Signal Processing and System Design
作者:Radomir S. Stankovic, Claudio Moraga, Jaakko Astola
内容介绍:
Discover applications of Fourier analysis on finite non-Abelian groups

The majority of publications in spectral techniques consider Fourier transform on Abelian groups. However, non-Abelian groups provide notable advantages in efficient implementations of spectral methods.

Fourier Analysis on Finite Groups with Applications in Signal Processing and System Design examines aspects of Fourier analysis on finite non-Abelian groups and discusses different methods used to determine compact representations for discrete functions providing for their efficient realizations and related applications. Switching functions are included as an example of discrete functions in engineering practice. Additionally, consideration is given to the polynomial expressions and decision diagrams defined in terms of Fourier transform on finite non-Abelian groups.

Linux in a Nutshell (Linux in a Nutshell)
by Ellen Siever, Aaron Weber, Stephen Figgins, Robert Love, Arnold Robbins
Publisher: O'Reilly; 5 edition (July 27, 2005)
内容介绍:
Over the last few years, Linux has grown both as an operating system and a tool for personal and business use. Simultaneously becoming more user friendly and more powerful as a back-end system, Linux has achieved new plateaus: the newer filesystems have solidified, new commands and tools have appeared and become standard, and the desktop--including new desktop environments--have proved to be viable, stable, and readily accessible to even those who don't consider themselves computer gurus.
Whether you're using Linux for personal software projects, for a small office or home office (often termed the SOHO environment), to provide services to a small group of colleagues, or to administer a site responsible for millions of email and web connections each day, you need quick access to information on a wide range of tools. This book covers all aspects of administering and making effective use of Linux systems. Among its topics are booting, package management, and revision control. But foremost in Linux in a Nutshell are the utilities and commands that make Linux one of the most powerful and flexible systems available.
Now in its fifth edition, Linux in a Nutshell brings users up-to-date with the current state of Linux. Considered by many to be the most complete and authoritative command reference for Linux available, the book covers all substantial user, programming, administration, and networking commands for the most common Linux distributions.
Comprehensive but concise, the fifth edition has been updated to cover new features of major Linux distributions. Configuration information for the rapidly growing commercial network services and community update services is one of the subjects covered for the first time.
But that's just the beginning. The book covers editors, shells, and LILO and GRUB boot options. There's also coverage of Apache, Samba, Postfix, sendmail, CVS, Subversion, Emacs, vi, sed, gawk, and much more. Everything that system administrators, developers, and power users need to know about Linux is referenced here, and they will turn to this book again and again.

书名:代码和加密
Codes and Ciphers : Julius Caesar, the Enigma, and the Internet (Hardcover)
by R. F. Churchhouse
Publisher: Cambridge University Press (December 6, 2001)
内容介绍:
本书描述和分析了许多加密系统,从最早期到最现代的、复杂的系统以及互联网环境下的加密等等
The ability to convert data into a form that is readable only by a selected group has been a matter of utmost importance for thousands of years. The fate of entire nations has rested on the ability of a nation to keep their messages secure or accurately unravel the messages of opponents. The most celebrated cases involve instances of war, where the messages sent by the Germans and Japanese were intercepted and decrypted by the allies. While not decisive in the outcome of the war, the knowledge gained was of enormous value and did a great deal to assist in the victory. By far, the most well known case is that of the Enigma machine used by the Germans in world war two. The British were able to break the code and the knowledge they obtained made a significant difference in the early years of the war.
Encryption is now a foundation pillar of modern society. Trillions of dollars are now electronically exchanged over the course of a year, and the entire world economy is now dependent on the ability of computers to exchange data in a manner that is accurate and secure from fraud. While security over the Internet is the most widely cited example, most of the data is exchanged over private lines.
The first documented case of encryption being used in war is when Julius Caesar used a simple substitution cipher to send orders to his troops. That and all similar codes is where the book begins. After that, there is a very detailed examination of the Enigma and Hagelin machines, right down to how the wheels interact. This part of the book was by far the most interesting, as well as the descriptions of how it was possible for the allied cryptographers to break the Enigma code. It turns out that the breaking of the codes was not due to a flaw in the machine, but in the way it was used. The remaining part of the book is filled with a description of public key cryptography and the applications for the Internet.
The sections on the substitution ciphers and public key cryptography are good but fairly standard. Problems are given at the end of each chapter and solutions are in the back of the book. What makes this book unique is the mechanical descriptions of the Enigma and Hagelin cipher machines. If you are interested only in the mathematics of encryption, then you will most likely not find them interesting. However, if you are like me and are interested in the mechanical aspects of the machines, then you will like it.

Publisher: Cambridge University Press; 2nd Ed edition (May 31, 2005)
内容介绍:
Since the appearance of the authors' first volume on elliptic curve cryptography in 1999 there has been tremendous progress in the field. In some topics, particularly point counting, the progress has been spectacular. Other topics such as the Weil and Tate pairings have been applied in new and important ways to cryptographic protocols that hold great promise. Notions such as provable security, side channel analysis and the Weil descent technique have also grown in importance. This second volume addresses these advances and brings the reader up to date. Prominent contributors to the research literature in these areas have provided articles that reflect the current state of these important topics. They are divided into the areas of protocols, implementation techniques, mathematical foundations and pairing based cryptography. Each of the topics is presented in an accessible, coherent and consistent manner for a wide audience that will include mathematicians, computer scientists and engineers.

Book- XML How to Program

Preface Live in fragments no longer. Only connect. Edward Morgan Forster Welcome to the exciting world of XML! This book is by an old guy and four young guys. The old guy (HMD; Massachusetts Institute of Technology 1967) has been programming and/or teaching programming for 40 years. The four young guys (PJD; MIT 1991, TRN; MIT 1992, TML; Carnegie Mellon 2001, PS; Northeastern 2000) have each been programming and/or teaching programming for many years. The old guy programs and teaches from experience; the young guys do so from an inexhaustible reserve of energy. The old guy wants clarity; the young guys want performance. The old guy seeks elegance and beauty; the young guys want results. We got together to produce a book we hope you will find informative, challenging and entertaining. Why We Wrote XML How to Program Today, XML is arguably the hottest technology in the computer industry. Therefore, university professors are eager to incorporate XML into their undergraduate and graduate Internet, Web, e-business and e-commerce curricula. Professionals are eager to use XML in their industrial-strength information-technology applications. Students are highly motivated by the fact that they are learning a leading-edge technology (XML) that will be immediately useful to them as they leave the university environment and head into a world where the Internet and World Wide Web have a massive prominence. After mastering the material in this book, students will be well prepared to take advantage of the Internet and the Web as they take upper-level courses and venture into the rapidly changing programming world. XML How to Program is the latest book in the Deitel/Prentice Hall How to Program series. It is distinguished by its focus on XML-based application development using programming languages such as Java, VBScript and Perl. We have syntax-colored the code throughout the book. The key focus of this book is applications development with XML. Our audiences care about XML processing on the client, XML processing on the server, using XML encoded data as a database, etc. Many XML books are reference manuals with exhaustive listings of features. That is not our style. We concentrate on creating real, working applications. We provide the live-code examples on the CD accompanying this book (and on www.deitel.com ) so that you can run the applications and see the results. We are excited about the enormous range of possibilities XML has to offer. We performed extensive research for this book and located hundreds of Internet and Web resources (which we provide as live links on the CD-ROM that accompanies this book and on www.deitel.com ) to help you learn about XML and its related technologies. These links include general information, tutorials and demonstrations. Please read the tour of the book in Chapter 1 to familiarize yourself with the XML technologies we present. A cutting-edge technology, XML is constantly evolving. This creates tremendous challenges for us as authors, for our publisher Prentice Hall, for instructors, and for students and professional people. We have worked hard to create useful live-code examples to help you master XML quickly and effectively. All of the code examples are on the accompanying disk and are available for free download from our Web sites: www.deitel.com www.prenhall.com/deitel Teaching Approach XML How to Program contains a rich collection of examples and exercises drawn from many fields to provide the student with a chance to solve interesting real-world problems. The book concentrates on the principles of good software engineering and stresses clarity. We avoid arcane terminology and syntax specifications in favor of teaching by example. The book is written by educators who spend most of their time writing about and teaching edge-of-the-practice programming topics. Live-Code Teaching Approach The book is loaded with live-code examples. This is the focus of the way we teach and write about programming, and the focus of our multimedia Cyber Classrooms and Web-Based Training Courses as well. Each new concept is presented in the context of a complete, working program immediately followed by one or more windows showing the program's input/output dialog. We call this style of teaching and writing our live-code approach. We use programming languages to teach programming languages. Reading these programs is much like entering and running them on a computer. XML How to Program shows how to create Web sites starting with HTML programming, then rapidly proceeding to programming in XML. HTML and XML are considered to be markup languages rather than programming languages, but many of our examples use XML in the context of Java, VBScript, Active Server Pages, Perl and JavaScript. For those readers who wish to review these programming technologies, we include full-chapter introductions to VBScript, Active Server Pages, Perl and Java. The Java treatment is especially substantial. World Wide Web Access All of the code for XML How to Program (and our other publications) is on the Internet free for download at the Deitel and Associates, Inc. Web site -- www.deitel.com Please download all the code and run each program as you read the text. Make changes to the code examples and immediately see the effects of those changes. It is a great way to learn programming. Note: You must respect the fact that this is copyrighted material. Feel free to use it as you study, but you may not republish any portion of it in any form without explicit permission from Prentice Hall and the authors. Objectives Each chapter begins with a statement of Objectives. This tells students what to expect and gives them an opportunity, after reading the chapter, to determine if they have met these objectives. It is a confidence builder and a source of positive reinforcement. Quotations The learning objectives are followed by quotations. Some are humorous, some are philosophical, and some offer interesting insights. Our students enjoy relating the quotations to the chapter material. Many of the quotations are worth a "second look" after you read each chapter. Outline The chapter Outline helps students approach the material in top-down fashion. This, too, helps students anticipate what is to come and set a comfortable and effective learning pace. Example XML documents (with Program Outputs) We present features in the context of complete, working XML documents. This is the focus of our teaching and our writing. We call it our live-code approach. Each Web document is followed by the outputs produced when the document is rendered in a Web browser (We use both Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5 and Netscape 6) and its scripts are executed. This enables students to confirm that the Web pages are rendered as expected. Reading the book carefully is much like entering the code and rendering these documents on a computer. The documents range from just a few lines of code to substantial examples with several hundred lines of code. Students should download all the code for the book from our Web site, and run each program while studying that program in the text. Illustrations/Figures An abundance of charts, line drawings and program outputs is included. Programming Tips We have included programming tips to help students focus on important aspects of program development. We highlight these tips in the form of Good Programming Practices, Common Programming Errors, Testing and Debugging Tips, Performance Tips, Portability Tips, Software Engineering Observations and Look-and-Feel Observations. These tips and practices represent the best we have gleaned from a total of almost eight decades of programming and teaching experience. One of our students a mathematics major told us that she feels this approach is like the highlighting of axioms, theorems and corollaries in mathematics books; it provides a foundation on which to build good software. Good Programming Practices Good Programming Practices are highlighted in the text. They call the students attention to techniques that help produce better programs. When we teach introductory courses to nonprogrammers, we state that the "buzzword" of each course is "clarity, " and we tell the students that we will highlight (in these Good Programming Practices) techniques for writing programs that are clearer, more understandable and more maintainable. Common Programming Error Students learning a language especially in their first programming course tend to make certain kinds of errors frequently. Focusing on these Common Programming Errors helps students avoid making the same errors. It also helps reduce long lines outside instructors' offices during office hours! Performance Tips In our experience, teaching students to write clear and understandable programs is by far the most important goal for a first programming course. But students want to write the programs that run the fastest, use the least memory, require the smallest number of keystrokes, or dazzle in other nifty ways. Students really care about performance. They want to know what they can do to "turbo charge" their programs. So we have include Performance Tips to highlight opportunities for improving program performance. Portability Tips Software development is a complex and expensive activity. Organizations that develop software must often produce versions customized to a variety of computers and operating systems. So there is a strong emphasis today on portability, i.e., on producing software that will run on a variety of computer systems with few, if any, changes. Achieving portability requires careful and cautious design. There are many pitfalls. We include Portability Tips to help students write portable code. Software Engineering Observations The Software Engineering Observations highlight techniques, architectural issues and design issues, etc. that affect the architecture and construction of software systems, especially large-scale systems. Much of what the student learns here will be useful in upper-level courses and in industry as the student begins to work with large, c...

Office Bullies Create Workplace 'Warzone'

The office might be far from the playground, but it’s not off limits to bullies. From a screaming boss to snubbing colleagues, bullies can create a “war zone” in the workplace.

In a recent study, bullied employees likened their experiences to a battle, water torture, a nightmare or a noxious substance. Understanding the seriousness of workplace bullying and what it feels like to get bullied could help managers put the brakes on the behavior, shown to afflict 25 to 30 percent of employees sometime during their careers.

“Many Americans are familiar with sexual and racial harassment, but not generalized workplace bullying,” said study team member Sarah Tracy of Arizona State University. Bullying can lead to higher company costs including increased employee illness, use of sick days, and medical costs, ultimately affecting productivity, she added.

Workplace bullying can include “screaming, cursing, spreading vicious rumors, destroying the target’s property or work product, excessive criticism, and sometimes hitting, slapping, and shoving.” Subtle behaviors, such as silent treatment, disregard of requests and exclusion from meetings, count as bullying.

Bully icons

The scientists interviewed 17 women and 10 men ranging from 26 to 72 years old, who had experienced bullying. Often, people have trouble putting into words their emotions surrounding bully behavior. So the researchers analyzed the metaphors found throughout the participants’ descriptions of bullying.

More than any other metaphor, participants characterized bullying as a contest or battle, with a female religious educator saying, “I have been maimed. … I’ve been character assassinated.” Others expressed feeling “beaten, abused, ripped, broken, scared and eviscerated,” the researchers stated in the upcoming issue of the journal Management Communication Quarterly.

The bullies were described as two-faced actors, narcissistic dictators and devils, leading workers to feel like vulnerable children, slaves and prisoners in these situations. As one employee explained, "I feel like I have 'kick me' tattooed on my forehead."

Bully-proof office

How can you take the bite out of a bully-fied office? “An important first step of changing workplace bullying, is helping people to understand that it's more than just kid stuff,” Tracy told LiveScience.

Early intervention can nip bullying in the bud before it escalates into an established pattern, one resulting in high company costs. The problem is that most bully victims keep their mouths shut, whispering their horrid experiences to close friends rather than higher-ups. The use of metaphors, the researchers suggested, is more subtle and more likely to seep into conversations both public and private.

The scientists will continue examining the prevalence and impact of workplace bullying. In another research project, which will be published in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Office Management, they found that out of more than 400 U.S. workers surveyed, 25 percent were bullied at work.
